1Full
registration includes educational seminars, admission to exhibit
hall, receptions, and meals in the exhibit hall. Golf registration is
not included with any registration.

insurance companies attending the VCIA conference for the first time,
limit two representatives per company at this special rate.
Individuals or companies providing services to a captive do not
qualify for this rate.
3Networking
fee includes admission to exhibit hall, receptions, and meals in the
exhibit hall. All attendees must complete a Registration
Form.

Pass allows admittance to evening receptions

Administrative Policies
Continuing
Professional Education Credit and Continuing Legal Education Credit: Persons attending VCIA Annual
Conference seminars will be eligible for CPE and CLE credit hours provided by
the Vermont Captive Insurance Association. Attendees will be required
to sign in at seminars to be eligible for credit. After the
conference, CPE and CLE certificates will be mailed to those eligible for
credit by VCIA.

Continuing Legal Education: VCIA currently holds the status of Continuing Legal Education accredited sponsor in Vermont. Seminars held during the VCIA event are approved by the Vermont Board of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education for 2 hours of credit each. Captives 101 (extended session) is a 3 credit session.
Seminar
Handouts: VCIA is Going Green! Conference attendees will receive conference seminar handouts on CD-Rom in their registration materials upon check-in at the Registration Desk. There will be no paper handouts. Pages for notetaking will be included in the conference program.

Disclaimer: The views expressed during the conference
seminars represent those of the speakers, not necessarily those of

Cell
Phone Policy: Courtesy to other attendees demands that cell phone
use be prohibited during seminars and general sessions.
Attire: The entire conference, including receptions, is “business
casual." The receptions at Shelburne Farms will be
partially on a grassy lawn, so low heels or flat shoes are
recommended.
Golf Cancellation Policy: Cancellations
will not be refunded, but substitutions are accepted.
Conference
Cancellation Policy: Registration fees are refundable when VCIA
receives written notice of cancellation on or before July 21, 2008.
There is a $100 administrative fee for all refunds. After July 21, 2008, no cancellations will be refunded, but substitutions are
accepted. Refunds will be issued after September 1, 2008.
Cancellation requests must be received in writing either by mail,
e-mail, or fax.
Exhibitor Cancellation Fee: For
exhibit cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the
conference, VCIA maintains a cancellation penalty of 50% of the
exhibit fee. If the cancellation is received less than 60 days
from the first day of the conference, no refund will be issued.

Sponsorship Cancellation Policy: Conference sponsorship cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the conference will be refunded without penalty. If the cancellation is received less than 90 days from the first day of the conference, no refunds will be issued. Cancellation requests must be received in writing either by mail, e-mail, or fax.
