Transportation
Traveling to and from the airport: There is a limited number of taxis and ride-sharing options in the city of Burlington. Please contact your hotel as they should be able to arrange a pickup and drop off for you at the airport. Please see the app's logistics page for information on taxis and rental cars.
On-Demand shuttle service: These vans consistently run loops from 7:30 AM - 9:00 PM between the DoubleTree, downtown hotels, and designated overflow hotels.
For shuttle service, call 802-881-2062 during the times below. To arrange a morning pick up, call the night before between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If calling after 7:00 PM your call will not be answered but will be returned in the morning.
Construction & Safety
Both the DoubleTree and the City of Burlington are undertaking significant construction projects to enrich the environment for decades to come. The DoubleTree is building a new hotel wing, which should not materially affect your conference experience. Burlington is transforming its downtown district, with limited to no impact on Church Street. Please build in extra time for your commuting around the city.
Burlington is a friendly and safe city, but like all cities has its share of urban issues. Please use common sense when out and about in downtown Burlington, walk in groups at night, and call 911 if you experience any threat to your safety.
