Peter Dysart
Associate Attorney

Peter is a detail-oriented insurance regulatory attorney, specializing in captive insurance and alternative risk transfer.  He has experience forming and providing corporate and regulatory counsel to a wide variety of captive insurance programs, from single-parent (pure) captives to sponsored captives and other group programs.  With his background in complex, insurance coverage litigation, Peter is able to provide additional value with respect to reinsurance transactions and other policy related matters.

Prior to private practice, Peter served as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter W. Hall of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is admitted to practice in Vermont and the District of Columbia.

Jesse Crary

Jesse Crary concentrates his practice on captive insurance, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters. Through his extensive work representing and advising captive insurance companies, special purpose vehicles and risk retention groups, he has developed strong relationships with insurance regulators and leading captive service providers.

Jesse is a specialist in developing and advising sponsored/protected cell captives and a leading attorney in the rapidly growing area of group medical stop loss captives. He has extensive experience forming and providing ongoing corporate and regulatory counsel to single parent, group, agency and sponsored/ protected cell captive insurance entities, as well as special purpose financial insurance vehicles, affiliated reinsurance companies and risk retention groups.
