    Steve Bauman
    Global Programs & Captive Director

    Steve Bauman is a senior vice president with Zurich Global Corporate in North America. (GCiNA). He leads a team developing a new captive strategy for Zurich's GCiNA division, helping clients with captive insurers to seamlessly integrate their captives into their insurance strategies. Steve has over 20 years of experience in corporate  insurance and captive services on both the broker and company sides, most recently as SVP of Aon's Captive Services Group. He has coordinated business in more than 60 countries.  His primary areas of expertise are corporate property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, with an emphasis on captives and risk financing programs for large national and multinational corporations.

    Peg Rubin
    Governance Lead

    Peggy Rubin is an operational expert who manages captive governance and the development of fronted captive opportunities as AXA XL. Peggy has been in the insurance industry for over five years and has worked to understand the world’s risk management challenges and to find solutions using captive insurance. Along with her colleague Steven Bauman, Peggy supports internal colleagues across all Commercial Lines in navigating the growth within the captive industry and provides external colleagues with guidance on using a fronting carrier. Peggy’s prior career as a Litigation Paralegal has equipped her with a great attention to detail and the desire to find creative solutions for real risk management challenges.
