Conor McKenzie is a tax attorney with Downs Rachlin Martin based in Vermont where he advises businesses on a wide range of federal, state, and local tax issues, including captive insurance. Prior to joining DRM, Conor practiced for 10 years at EY in Boston, Massachusetts where he spent a significant amount of time focused on insurance tax issues. Conor holds a B.A. from Union College, a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and an LLM in Tax from Boston University School of Law.

As a Senior Tax Manager at Crowe LLP, Alicia is the client service leader on many of the firm’s multi-national and international insurance clients. She has experience with both U.S. domiciled and internationally domiciled insurance companies. Alicia works with single parent captives, risk retention groups, association captives, cell companies, risk pools, and reciprocal insurance companies. Her roles at the firm include overseeing the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, preparation of tax related compliance for GAAP and SSAP 101 reporting and performing research and consulting on federal and state insurance related issues.
